A Clyde Township resident died yesterday morning following a single-car accident.
Investigating officers with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 4500 block of Burtch Road in Clyde Township around 2:40 a.m. on Sunday, July 24. They determined that the vehicle had been headed west on Burtch Road when if left the roadway and struck a tree. The investigation is still ongoing, in part to determine why the driver left the road.
Also responding to the scene were the Burtchville Township Fire Department and Tri EMS.
