The Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance following five separate break-ins since September 19.
All five took place during daytime hours across the county, specifically in Arbela, Millington, and Vassar Townships. In two of the break-ins, the suspects entered through a basement window while in another incident, they gained entry by prying the latch on a garage door. There was one attempted break-in where a sliding door was pried but entry was not made.
The last attempt was scared off because the homeowner was inside the residence, who described the subject as approximately 5’11 and 130 lbs. wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and blue jeans, but wasn’t able to provide the suspect’s race or gender in their description.
If you have any information, the department urges you to contact Detective Josh Herman at 989-673-8161 ex 2234 .
