Tom Fabbri, President and CEO, along with his siblings Dennis Fabbri, Rick Fabbri and Sue Willis, have agreed to a substantial investment in improvements to transform Lakeview Hills Country Club & Resort, formerly Lakeview Hills Golf Resort, into a world class golf, lodging, dining and wedding destination in the thumb of Michigan.

The renovation plans highlight a fine dining restaurant to be called Emilio’s Prime Steakhouse, a homage to the late patriarch of the family, Emilio Fabbri. Emilio’s Prime aims to be a great special occasion restaurant and destination for those in the surrounding areas, serving specialty steaks and fresh seafood.

Other plans include a new outdoor wedding ceremony location on the golf course, offering magnificent views and photo opportunities for couples; a modernized large ballroom, affectionately named the Lexington Ballroom; and total renovations to the 29 on-property guest rooms, plus an addition of 4 junior suites. Topping off the list are a breathtaking bridal suite and a fun groom suite, both of which will have views of the course and outdoor wedding area.

In addition to Fadi Achour, a 35-year hospitality veteran brought on as General Manager, Samantha Jay has come on board as the property’s new Director of Sales & Catering. Jay hails from nearby Port Huron where she was the Director of Sales at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel for close to ten years.

Along with the planned renovations, the entire property is being rebranded to stay in line with this fresh start and modernization. The project is expected to be completed by summer 2023.
