Hunter Hospitality House to host fundraiser Hope Blooms in April

Hunter Hospitality House will be holding Hope Blooms, their annual fundraising dinner, on Thursday, April 27 at the Blue Water Convention Center.
The banquet is from 5:30-7:30 pm, with an optional early entry time of 4:30 pm.  Those attending will enjoy dinner, the music of Jimmy DeHeno and Still Running, a $1000 cash drawing, raffle items, a silent auction, cupcakes, and more.  For those unable to attend but would still like to support Hunter Hospitality House, an online-only raffle of an inflatable kayak is available too.
Proceeds from this event will allow Hunter Hospitality House to continue to provide free lodging and amenities in two bed-and-breakfast-style homes and one VRBO style family house in Port Huron, located directly across from both hospitals.  Qualified guests include families of hospitalized patients, those undergoing daily outpatient treatment, and people needing a place to stay the night before a surgery.
Loved ones of patients in other medical facilities in the area, such as the Blue Water Hospice Home and Marwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, are also welcome when vacancies allow. Tickets for Hope Blooms can be purchased online or by sending a check to Hunter Hospitality House at 1010 Lincoln Avenue, Port Huron, MI 48060.  The cost is $65 each, and seating is limited, with sponsorship opportunities still available and to be found online.
