Michigan State Police have identified the man found dead yesterday morning in the woods near Harbor Beach.
Authorities say that the man is 57-year-old Daniel L. Copeland of Harbor Beach, who had been reported missing since last Thursday, February 16, and was found deceased around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 23 near Lakeshore and Lincoln Roads.
Despite him having been missing, foul play is not suspected at this time, with the investigation ongoing and an autopsy scheduled.
