Port Huron Police are trying to reconnect some stolen items recovered last September with their owners before a police property auction in April.
Via press release, Police Chief Brian Kerrigan announced that, after recovering a large amount of stolen property on Saturday, September 24, 2022, the department has returned most, but not all, of the property to the known owners.
This unclaimed property includes: a brake; scaffolding planks; furnace parts; tires; a leaf blower and an air compressor; tool boxes; ratchet straps, a sawzall and impact wrenches; drills; a battery charger; an air hose; miscellaneous hand tools, and a hand cart.
If you believe an item to be yours, please call 810-984-9711 and speak to the Property Manager to describe the item in further detail. If it is determined that the item belongs to you, an appointment will be made for pick up.
These items will be held until April 14, 2023, whereafter the property will be sent to auction.
