The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) lifted some of its weight restrictions on state truckline roads yesterday, with many Thumb area roads and highways, such as M-46 and M-25, seeing those restrictions lifted for them as a result.
While Lapeer, Sanilac, St. Clair and Tuscola counties no longer have seasonal weight restrictions in effect, Huron County’s restrictions remain in effect through tomorrow, March 29.
Huron County Road Commission announced their restrictions earlier this year, on February 8.
