A Wednesday night motorcycle accident is still under investigation by Caro Troopers.
Officers were dispatched shortly after 8:45 p.m. on April 12 to a motorcycle crash reported in Kingston Township, on M-46 near Phillips Road. The investigation revealed that the motorcycle, a 2006 Yamaha, was traveling eastbound on M-46 when it struck a deer, with motorcyclist, Edward Lee Scribner, age 53 of Sandusky, sustaining critical injuries from the crash.
Scribner was flown by Flight Care from the scene to an out of area hospital where he later succumbed from his injuries.
It is unknown at this time if alcohol was a factor in the accident. Troopers were assisted on scene by Kingston Fire and Rescue, Marlette Ambulance Service, St Mary’s Flight Care, and 10 Point Towing.
