The McKenzie Health System Auxiliary will be hosting its 17th Annual Golf Scramble on Thursday, June 8th, at Woodland Hills Golf Course, 320 N. Gates Road, in Sandusky.
Teams of up to four persons can enjoy eighteen holes of golf and other festivities, such as the chance to win $20,000 and other great prizes. Also set to make its exciting return is the launch to the event: the 6th annual golf ball drop sponsored by Bender Builders, with a $1,000 raffle prize to be made available for anyone whose ball drops in or is closest to the hole. McKenzie Health System Auxiliary welcomes all community members to participate in the ball drop and the post-scramble dinner, in addition to “Golfapalooza” which is sponsored by Kohler Propane.
“The Golf Scramble is the highlight of the year for Auxiliary members, and we are looking forward to another great event,” shares Kelsey Loding, McKenzie Auxiliary Co-President. “Seeing community members come together for a day of golf and fun and helping us reach our goals of providing exceptional care for the community is worth every minute spent planning. We truly appreciate every golfer, sponsor, and volunteer who join us each year for a day of competition and celebration, and we can’t wait to see what fun the 17th annual scramble brings!”
Team registration and sponsorships are available until May 27th. Check-ins for the scramble will begin at 9 AM, with the golf ball drop officially taking place at 9:45 AM followed by a shotgun start at 10 AM. An initial registration fee includes dinner, which is to be served after the scramble. But, for a small donation, food will be available throughout the event.
