Port Sanilac, MI – A Wedding Open House is being planned on May 13, from 1-4pm, in honor of the completed addition and renovations at The Village Church at the Museum, on the grounds of the Sanilac County Historic Village & Museum.
You’re invited to wander the grounds, experience all of the potential ceremony/reception sites, meet with vendors, and get inspiration for your wedding. The Wedding Open House is where you’ll find everything you need to create your historic dream wedding!
Tour The Village Church with its beautifully renovated Bride’s Room and private Bride’s Powder Room. The Church is a Victorian-era jewel that seats up to 100 guests.
The lovely Loop-Harrison Mansion, built in 1872, is the perfect place to host your intimate ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, and bridal shower.
Stroll the beautiful grounds, including 14 flower gardens, a whimsical nature trail, 17 historic buildings, and a 1942 U.S. Army Troop Train. Your wedding at the Museum gives you access to amazing photo opportunities throughout the 10-acre property.
Check out the tented event space, complete with lighting, fans, and optional sides. The stage, with its retractable awning, is yours to use at no additional cost. Tables and chairs are available to rent.
