Bad Axe Police report that a hit and run yesterday afternoon left the victim only minorly injured but saw the suspect fleeing from the scene.
Police shared via a press release that shortly before 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, a 28-year-old Bad Axe resident was crossing North Port Crescent Street when a medium, blue Ford F-150 struck the resident as it left a private drive. The impact caused the pedestrian to fall, but she only suffered a minor scrape from hitting the pavement, refusing treatment on scene.
With the driver leaving the scene, police are investigating in hopes of identifying the driver.
