Surveillance conducted by the Sanilac County Drug Task Force Officers last Monday, May 8, led to the arrest of a 26-year-old Carsonville woman.
The Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop on South Van Dyke Rd. near Montgomery Road in Marlette Township, which saw the woman being found with methamphetamine in her possession and her subsequently being arrested. With the woman lodged at the Sanilac County Jail pending arraignment, the investigation is ongoing at this time.
The Sanilac County Drug Task Force was assisted by the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Services and U.S. Border Patrol K-9 Division.
