In addition to the Croswell Fair happening all week long, two more events are on tap for this weekend in the Thumb Area.
The Thumb Tractor Pulling Association (TTPA) will be at this year’s Minden City Homecoming! It all kicks off on Saturday, July 15, at 3:00 PM with plenty of tractor and truck pulls. V8 Hot Rods, 6000 Pro Street Pickups, Powderpuff Trucks, and more are just a few of the classes included in the lineup.
Don’t let your night roll to a stop there, though! After watching some heart-racing tractor and truck pulling, be sure to stop by the entertainment tent at 9:00 PM. Live music will be provided by Whiskey Fixx–a live band that combines classic country music with high octane.
Also on Saturday, July 15 is Port Sanilac’s Summer Festival! Join in on this year’s festivities down at Harbor Park. From 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, jump into one of many inflatable bouncy houses, while listening to free music from 11:00 AM to 5 PM. There’s also face painting and balloon twisting for the little ones available from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
For those looking for some more challenging activities, don’t worry! This year’s festival will be packed full of carnival games for the kids. For just $0.25 cents, you can enjoy one of many fun-filled games. Or, take part in the cornhole tournament at 4:00 PM. Finish off your evening with music by Ten Beach Drive–a Michigan-based top rock and variety band part of Music in the Park.
