In addition to hearing presentations from Blue Water Conservation and the Region VII (7) Area Agency on Aging, the Sanilac County Board of Commissioners will be meeting today, July 18, to approve a non-expiring agreement between the Sanilac County Road Commission and the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office for contractual law enforcement services.
The Area Agency on Aging presentation will be accompanied by a resolution to support the 2024 Annual Implementation Plan, while the Blue Water Conservation presentation will include a funding request.
The board will also be approving the disposal of a 2016 Ford Interceptor from the Sheriff’s Office via auction at Vassar’s Albrecht Auction Service.
They will also be approving the purchase of 15 computer workstations and accompanying software licenses for a little more than $22,000, as well as the purchase of a fingerprint scanner for the Sheriff’s Office, which carries an almost $10,300 price tag.
The commissioners will be meeting this afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at the Sanilac County Courthouse.
