St. Clair County Health Department will be offering vaccination services on a walk-in basis (no appointment needed) on Mondays (10:00am – 6:00pm) and Wednesdays (8:00am – 4:00pm), starting next Wednesday, August 2 through October 25, 2023.
Vaccination services are available on the other weekdays but by appointment. Amy Bishop, the health department’s Director of Nursing and Community Health explained that the walk-in days will not only help kids get caught up on school-required vaccinations, but the expansion into October will also allow people of all ages to get their vaccinations and be prepared for colder months when more illnesses tend to occur.
Flu vaccine availability will be announced at a later date when supplies become available.
