Wednesday ORV accident sends Bad Axe man to hospital

Bad Axe Police report that an afternoon ORV crash yesterday sent a 54-year-old man to the hospital with injuries.

On Wednesday, August 2, around 3:00 p.m, Bad Axe Police responded to the crash scene on Chickory Street east of Whitelam Street. Officer Scott Zaleski found in his investigation that a 2017 Polaris ORV was being driven by a 54-year-old Bad Axe man when it overturned, the driver reporting that he had lost control while accelerating.

The driver did sustain injuries and was transported by Central Huron Ambulance to McLaren ER. Max 24hr Towing removed the ORV from the scene.
