Croswell man taken to McLaren following Wednesday two-vehicle accident

One Croswell driver was hospitalized after an evening collision between two vehicles in Worth Township on Wednesday night.
On Wednesday, August 16, around 7:40 p.m., Sanilac County Central Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call reporting a two vehicle personal injury accident at the intersection of Wildcat and Galbraith Line Road in Worth Township.  Deputies along with Croswell EMS and the Croswell Fire Department were dispatched to the scene.
According to Sheriff’s Deputies, a 19- year-old male from Richmond was driving a 2001 Ford F150 and pulling a set of jet ski’s south on Wildcat Road when he failed to stop at the four-way stop. At the same time a 2005 Chevrolet Impala, being driven by a 29-year-old Croswell man, proceeded westbound through the intersection, after being stopped at the four-way stop.
The 2001 Ford F-150 struck the passenger side of the 2005 Chevrolet Impala, causing disabling damage to both vehicles. The vehicles exited the roadway and the 2001 Ford F-150 overturned, dislodging the jet ski’s from the trailer.  
The 29-year-old Croswell man was transported to McLaren Port Huron by Croswell EMS. The 19-year-old Richmond man sought his own medical attention later.
Sanilac County Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted at the scene by Croswell PD, Lexington PD and Michigan State Police.
