The owner of an unusual stolen item found by the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office has been located as of Monday morning.
Last Friday, September 8, the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office announced via social media that items stolen from storage units in southern Tuscola County and northern Genesee County had been found, with one item being a full body bear mount.
The mount was among crossbows and compound bows, also believed to have been stolen.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the community for helping find the owner and reunite them with the taxidermied animal.
