Croswell Police confirmed that there was an incident at Michigan Sugar this morning, with the situation allegedly involving a knife assault.
Officials at Croswell-Lexington Community Schools informed parents that, after buses began Monday morning routes, the school had been notified of the incident, with the suspect still at large. However, while the schools contacted the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office to determine the safest course of action for students, the suspect was apprehended.
Croswell Police reported via social media that there is currently no threat to the community, with that being the extent of information currently available for release.
