Filling the role left vacant by outgoing director Jerry Johnson, former Supervising and Staff Development Educator Karly Creguer was recently announced by the MSU Extension as their District 10 Director, effective November 1.
In her new role, she will be serving Huron, Tuscola, Sanilac, Lapeer and St. Clair counties, working with and presenting to the county boards of commissioners regarding the extensions budget. She will also oversee partnerships that make community programming possible in the Thumb.
In Creguer’s previous role with the Extension, she supervised a team of Community Nutrition Instructors, having served as a Community Nutrition Instructor herself for five years.
Creguer is currently fulfilling her duties at the extension’s office in Tuscola County’s city of Caro.
