Tuscola County man arrested, arraigned on 50 counts related to child pornography

Michigan State Police have arrested a 52-year-old Tuscola County man on 50 counts related to possessing child pornography.

The MSP Computer Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force announced Wednesday, November 1, that John Duncan Crawford III of Deford had been arrested following a probation violation and investigation that found and seized digital evidence from him. Child pornography was located by Michigan Department of Corrections personnel and turned over to state police for further investigation.

Crawford is charged with 25 counts of child sexually abusive material– aggravated possession, and 25 counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned in the 71B District Court on Thursday, October 26.
