A proposal to approve the establishment of a marijuana provisioning facility within the city limits of Yale failed by 27 votes in Tuesday’s election, with 124 voting no and 97 voting yes. The millage proposal for the city’s Elmwood Cemetery passed handily, however, with 158 yes votes being cast against 63 no votes. Elsewhere in St. Clair County, the operating millage for Anchor Bay School District was approved, with 197 voting yes, and 155 voting no.
