Huron County voters approve millages for Port Austin police, Bad Axe Public Schools; re-elects Caseville and Bad Axe incumbents

Residents of Huron County voted yes to two bond proposals yesterday: one for Bad Axe Public Schools and one for Port Austin Police. 
Bad Axe Public Schools bond proposal passed 459 to 337, while Port Austin’s police millage proposal was passed 230 to 82.
In Caseville and Bad Axe, all uncontested incumbents were re-elected to their positions without issue, including Caseville mayor Christopher Stahl, Caseville City Council Members Clint Braun, Darin Sprague, and John Tait, as well as their Bad Axe counterparts, mayor Kathleen Particka and council members Joel Harrison, Nicholas Rochefort and Richard Peterson.
