A breaking and entering report last Friday led to one arrest and the seizure of methamphetamine by the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office.
On Nov. 3, Deputy Kyle Bischer was dispatched to a Vassar Township address after a reported breaking and entering call. Upon arrival, the deputy could see a 29-year-old Millington woman inside of an unoccupied building, with her being arrested soon after. Police learned that the suspect, who had been trying to steal scrap metal in the building, was in possession of methamphetamine as well.
As the woman was being transported to the county jail, two other men arrived at the original location, with both of them, a 33-year-old Millington man and a 63-year-old Vassar man, also being arrested in connection with the complaint. These arrests included similar charges including possession of methamphetamine.
Through this investigation, several search warrants were conducted and additional stolen property has been recovered. The investigation is ongoing, with officials saying information is subject to change/updating.
