Sanilac County authorities are asking for public assistance following a road rage incident last Friday.
Sanilac County Central Dispatch received a call around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, December 1, from a driver shot at on the road. The caller informed dispatchers that they were passing a black GMC Duramax pickup truck on West Peck Road, near Maple Valley Road, in Maple Valley Township, when the truck’s occupants shot at the other vehicle.
The caller said that the truck was occupied by three white men, one black man, and one white woman, all in their mid-twenties. Though shots were fired, no injuries were reported during the incident.
Further information regarding this incident is being withheld as it is an ongoing investigation.
