The Village of Lexington will be holding their long-anticipated Winterfest on Saturday, February 3, and Sunday, February 4, 2024.
Brought to you by the Lexington Business Association (LBA), this winter extravaganza will transform the heart of Lexington into a bustling hub of family fun–for one weekend only.
“We are thrilled to present the Winterfest as a celebration of the season’s magic, bringing the community together for a weekend of frosty fun,” said Lynn Wilhelm, President of the Lexington Business Association. “We’ve assembled a diverse lineup of activities to cater to all interests, ensuring that the LBA Winterfest becomes a cherished tradition for area residents and visitors alike.”
The highlight of Winterfest is the Polar Plunge where brave individuals will dive into icy waters surrounding the Windjammer, all for a charitable cause. Attendees can also look forward to the Ice Sculpture Walk. Visitors will stroll through the social district of downtown Lexington and engage with plenty of businesses. If ice sculptures don’t interest you, then local chefs will be competing to claim the title of Winterfest Chili Champion. Come put your taste buds to the test by sampling a variety of chilis and voting for your favorites. In addition, the Winterfest Pet & People Fashion Show at the Windjammer will reveal only the trendiest styles for humans and pets alike.
