Lapeer County authorities are asking the public for help finding a missing 17-year-old boy in Dryden Township.
The teenager, Nathan John Baughman, was last seen on New Year’s Day wearing a black hoodie, sweatpants and a gray Swiss Tech backpack. In their notice to the public, the Dryden Township Fire Department advised that the boy has high-functioning autism as well as social anxiety.
Baughman has a history of running away, doing so for almost a week in early April of 2023 before being found near the Ohio border by Michigan authorities. The boy is described as standing at 5’7” and 140 lbs, with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes.
