The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office is warning citizens of an ongoing scam regarding the sale of foreclosed properties.
The scammer claims to be selling a “database” which gives citizens access to foreclosed properties in 30,000 counties across the country, which is completely false.
The St. Clair County Sheriff, and the Treasurer’s Office, would like to remind the community that the only way to secure foreclosed properties is through the online tax auction: www.tax-sale.info
