Two local business consultants have rejoined the state’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to help business owners in the Thumb area achieve success.
Lisa Kenny and Kris Reinelt have recently rejoined the MI-SBDC team, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of entrepreneurship to the Thumb Area. Lisa Kenny will be serving Huron and Sanilac counties, while Kris Reinelt will be serving Lapeer and Tuscola counties.
In addition to owning On Target Marketing in Sandusky, Kenny has worked closely with the city of Marlette in economic development and recently oversaw Sanilac County’s master plan process as the local coordinator. Reinelt, meanwhile, is based in Tuscola County, and has owned and operated her marketing and consulting firm, Infinite Creative Services Inc, for almost 20 years, and has assisted several municipalities, including the city of Caro.
In addition to the SBDC recently welcoming Kenny and Reinelt back to the fold, the center is a key partner in the newly launched Eastern Michigan Small Business Network, a collaborative effort facilitated by the Economic Development Alliance (EDA) of St. Clair County. This initiative, covering St. Clair, Huron, Lapeer, Tuscola, Genesee, Sanilac, and Shiawassee counties, offers comprehensive business support and resources, including a cohort program with personalized coaching, mentoring, and up to $7,000 in essential support services.
