A Saturday morning injury crash involving an off-road vehicle injured two, according to the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office.
Department deputies report that around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, officers were called to the scene of an ORV crash on Lee Hill Road, south of M-46 and located near a local bar.
Due to being already tied up with an injury crash caused by intoxicated driving in Millington Township, Tuscola County Sheriff Deputies were accompanied to the scene by agencies from Caro, Kingston and Cass City. The sheriff department’s Accident Investigation Team also responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
It was found that a 29-year-old woman had been a passenger on the ORV, and suffered life threatening injuries from the early morning ride. She required transport to a hospital by MMR, while the driver of the ORV, a 38-year-old man, only suffered minor injuries. He was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol causing serious injury.
