Croswell City Council members closed June out with exciting decisions concerning logo designs and updates on street construction.
Residents at Monday’s town hall meeting provided council members with plenty of comments on the city’s logo. The council received three updated options at their June 17 meeting, following interest in a possible redesign back in September.
“We got some good feedback . . . We can always change it after we decide,” Mayor Rob Butler said.
The new designs were intended to better represent the city’s colors and the Swinging Bridge. At the conclusion of the meeting, two were selected with the promise that minor color and font changes would be made. One option will solely be used by Parks and Recreation, and the second being used as Croswell’s official logo. City Administrator David Tait also announced that street construction is well under way. Work on Moore Street has started with it to be completed in six to seven weeks or near the end of July. Construction will then shift to Ward Street.
The next upcoming city council meeting is scheduled for July 15, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.
