Croswell City Council paves the way for street construction updates, future Pioneer Days Exploratory Meetings

croswell-2-2

With summer in full swing, the Croswell City Council met this past Monday to provide citizens with construction updates and future Pioneer Days Exploratory Meetings.
Despite running into some hurdles with asphalt top coating, council members reported that work on Wells Street is still going strong. A formal construction meeting will be held next week to discuss the official start date for Ward Street. It was also announced that the July 1 Pioneer Days Exploratory Meeting was a resounding success. There were plenty of people present and plenty of ideas thrown around.
Future meetings will be held every first Monday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Aitken Memorial District Library in Croswell. Prospective volunteers or those simply interested in reviving the Pioneer Days Festival are encouraged to attend to share ideas, energy, and support.
The next city council meeting will be held on August 5, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at the Croswell Community Center.
