The St. Clair County Drug Task Force has had a busy first half of 2024, conducting multiple investigations, making several arrests, and seizing a large amount of narcotics.
It is important to note that statistics may vary each year due to the lengthy investigations DTF conducts. From January to June 2024, the St. Clair County Drug Task Force conducted 193 traffic stops, issued 53 search warrants, confiscated 66 weapons and filed charges for 168 felonies and 106 misdemeanors.
The task force also seized almost $600,000 in narcotics.
According to the agency’s press release, “the Task Force is committed to thoroughness, to ensure proper prosecution of …dealers.”
