“The Sanilac County Community Foundation (SCCF) is delighted to continue supporting our local Sanilac County First Responder Agencies through our second First Responders Grant Round,” said Joshua Robinson, the foundation’s executive director.
“This grant round, and the Community Foundation’s work as a whole, are made possible by the unwavering support of our community, which we are proud to serve. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have supported SCCF in the past and who continue to foster local, place-based philanthropy.”
This initiative is funded by four SCCF Funds: the Chief Dave Hall First Responders Fund, the Sefton-Leggett Legacy Fund, the A.L. Degel / R.L. Shambarger First Responders Fund, and the Donald and Diana Thomas First Responders Fund. These funds are composed of local contributions from generous donors who recognize the importance of strengthening local organizations dedicated to enhancing Sanilac County.
Robinson added that, “We would like to extend a special thank you to the Sanilac County Police Firemen Frontline Hero Committee for providing the Community Foundation with this opportunity and for sponsoring the Front Line Hero Ceremony, where we are honored to present these grant dollars.”
