A Tuscola County woman was found dead Sunday morning following a vehicle crash in Indianfields Township.
Tuscola County Sheriff’s deputies, along with Caro Police and MMR, responded to the scene around 6:20 a.m. on Sunday, August 11. A local resident had found the crash site while on a morning walk, with another neighbor reporting that they heard a loud noise, possibly the crash, the prior night around 10:30 p.m.
When emergency responders arrived at the scene on Gun Club Road near Ryan Road, they found the driver, a 28-year-old Mayville woman, had been ejected from the vehicle and killed. Investigation determined she was alone in the vehicle when it left the road and rolled several times before ejecting her.
An autopsy has been scheduled and the woman’s family has been notified.
