The Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in tracking down a vehicle involved in a Sunday afternoon drive-by shooting.
The shooting took place yesterday, shortly after 1:45 p.m., at a home on Colwood Road near Akron Road in Tuscola County’s Ellington Township. The investigation determined that the involved vehicle was a Ford passenger car, either tan or light gray in color, and was occupied by two people at the time of the shooting.
After firing multiple shots, the unknown subjects fled north on Colwood Road before turning west onto Bay City-Forestville Road. The vehicle was last seen near Graf Road.
A picture of the suspected vehicle is available for viewing on the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, with the sheriff’s office asking anyone with information on the vehicle or suspects to contact Det/Sgt Justin Nitz at 989-673-8161 ext 2233.
