Due to the ongoing construction, the Sandusky Firefighters Association have decided to cancel this year’s Sandusky Car Show and Cruise.
Other events related to the September 14th event, such as a fireworks display, are also being canceled. The association cites the ongoing road construction projects in the city, which not only prevents cruising, but has also put major financial pressure on the businesses sponsoring the event.
The association plans to resume the car show and cruise tradition next year, on September 13, with construction hopefully done by that time.
