Although fall is just a few days away, the threat of winter looms on the horizon for many construction projects–especially those in Michigan. Croswell City Council members announced at their Monday meeting, however, that road construction has been going well. Curbs and gutters have been finished on Ward and Brown Streets with their sidewalks expected to be completed by the end of the week. As for Davis Street, it will also be receiving sidewalk replacements, along with watermain construction updates likely before the end of 2024.
Council members also briefly discussed the lack of reflectors on the nearby bike paths. Tait assured the council that he has spoken to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and will be getting them replaced as soon as possible.
The next upcoming city council meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 7, 2024.
