Thumb Bank & Trust is pleased to announce the promotion of Jim Hempton to Chief Operating Officer.
Hempton adds this new role to his duties as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. He has been with Thumb Bank and Trust since 2001 and was promoted to Chief Lending Officer in 2015.
In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Hempton will oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions for the bank’s twelve branch locations.
Thumb Bank & Trust is a local community bank established in 1895, and has offices in Huron, Bay, Tuscola and Sanilac Counties.
