Port Huron man charged on 8 counts related to child sexually abusive material

The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force recently announced the arrest of Ethan Jacob Morgan, 25 of Port Huron, for aggravated possession and distribution of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
Morgan was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Morgan was viewing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet. Morgan was charged with one count of aggravated distribution of child sexually abusive material, three counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and four counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Morgan was arraigned in the 72nd District Court on Friday, September 27. The MSP Computer Crimes Unit encourages parents to speak to their children about the safe use of the internet.
