The Sandusky Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to re-discover Sandusky’s restaurants, shops & businesses on Small Business Saturday, November 30!
Sixteen different businesses are participating in the shopping day with one day specials.“Get Caught Shopping Small” on Saturday, November 30 between 10am-5pm in participating stores, and you could be handed a gift card to help you buy more Christmas gifts.
“Over $750 in local business gift cards will be handed out that day to reward people for coming back to Sandusky now that the roads are beautifully completed and open,” says Lisa Kenny, Sandusky Chamber President.
Sandusky has hundreds of businesses including a couple of national retail chains, restaurants, and factories, but the majority are locally owned small businesses with between 1-50 employees. According to the 3/50 Project, for every $1 spent in a locally owned store or restaurant, .68 cents stays in the community through taxes, payroll, donations, and other expenditures. Shop at a national chain, and just .43 stays in the local community, and if you shop online, nothing stays local.
The following Sandusky Chamber Member businesses will be part of Small Business Saturday on November 30:
- Ace Hardware,
- Godwin’s Furniture,
- 3 Cord Ministries Thrift Shop,
- Sanilac County News,
- Mint Restaurant,
- Elk Street Brewery & Taproom,

- Tri-County Equipment,
- Pearls & Lace,
- Great Lakes Counseling & Wellness,
- Ball Equipment,
- McDonalds Restaurant,
