St. Clair County Drug Task Force arrests two following busy week of investigations

The St. Clair County Drug Task Force wrapped up a busy week with several investigations and arrests of those involved, receiving assistance from the Special Response Team and K9 Brock.
On Tuesday, December 3, the Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on the 1100 block of Gillet Street in Port Huron. They arrested John Poindexter, a 29 year old resident, seizing 88 grams of methamphetamine, 3 grams of fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and sales materials. Poindexter is charged with four felony counts, including possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, tampering with evidence, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, and resisting and obstructing. He remains at the St. Clair County Detention and Intervention Center with his bond set at $50,000.
A day later, on Wednesday, December 4, the Drug Task Force executed another search warrant on the 1000 block of Dunn Road in Riley Township, arresting 57 year old Larry Rabine. They seized methamphetamine, multiple firearms and ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and sales materials. Rabine is charged on two felony counts of possession of methamphetamine and felony firearm. His bond was set at $10,000.
