An Almont man has been charged in the 1989 murder of a Washtenaw County woman, according to court records.
Buster John Robbins, age 69, was arraigned January 3, 2025 for the September 1989 murder of Beverly Ann Wivell.
According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, detectives reopened the investigation in 2022 and were able to develop a suspect with the use of current biological technology.
That suspect, Robbins, was denied bond and is being held as he awaits another probable cause conference on February 13.
