A case of retail fraud in Fort Gratiot Township saw three arrested Sunday afternoon, according to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office.

The retail fraud was reported around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, at the Dunham’s on 24th Avenue. It was reported that three suspects fled the store and left in a gold 2007 Cadillac Escalade, with the vehicle located by patrolling deputies as it was headed west on Keewahdin Road. The vehicle came to a stop in the middle of North Road, but as deputies began to exit their vehicles, the Escalade took off again.

The fleeing car headed south on North Road, onto Wadhams Road and eventually onto eastbound I-69. After continuing on I-69, the car exited the freeway on Wadhams Road and pulled into the Love’s gas station, where all three occupants of the car were detained by officers without incident.

In the vehicle, they discovered a large number of items with tags on them, as well as a cutting device and a magnetic device commonly used to remove merchandise tags. All three suspects have a known history of retail fraud.

Vince Price of Redford was arraigned on the charges of first degree retail fraud, a felony, and third degree fleeing a police officer, also a felony. Bond was set at $75,000 during his February 4 arraignment.

Keisha Price and Yolanda Price (of Detroit) were both arraigned on the charge of first degree retail fraud, a felony. Bond was set at $25,000 for each of them.
