No injuries were reported but the damage was extreme following a structure fire at the Croswell Car Wash early Tuesday morning.

The Croswell Fire Department was dispatched at 1:59 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, to a fire at 12 East State Street in Croswell. The Croswell Police Department arrived at the car wash at 2:00 a.m., reporting that the building was completely engulfed, with the fire having spread through the roof. Shortly after their arrival, the roof of the building collapsed.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Croswell Fire Department was assisted by the Croswell Police Department and Sanilac County Sheriff Department. Croswell EMS also remained on hand.
