Duran Duran is set to headline the 31st edition of amfAR Gala Cannes, which raises money for AIDS research programs.
The event, hosted by actress Taraji P. Henson, will take place May 22 in Antibes, France, during the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
“We are so excited to have the iconic Duran Duran back with us at amfAR Gala Cannes and we are grateful for their longstanding support of our work,” said amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost.
Duran Duran previously performed at the amfAR gala in 2013. The band is set to kick off a European tour on June 3 in Finland, although the gala will be their only performance in France.

Since the first amfAR Cannes benefit was held in 1993, the event has raised $297 million for lifesaving AIDS research.
