
A 33-year-old Deckerville man was arrested Monday following a traffic stop and search that found methamphetamine.
The Sanilac County Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop on Van Dyke Road in Marlette Township on Monday, March 24. During the traffic stop, the Drug Task Force K-9 was deployed and alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded over 12 grams of Methamphetamine.
The driver of the vehicle, a 33-year-old Deckerville man, was arrested and is expected to be arraigned on drug related charges. No further details are being released in this matter.
