Update: As of noon today, the subject has been identified. The matter has been resolved as a misunderstanding involving a package pickup and delivery service.
The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a package thief.
During the early afternoon hours of Tuesday, April 9th, 2025, a man was observed taking packages from the front porch of a home in the 3500 block of Wildcat Rd in Lexington Township.
He was driving a red Dodge pickup at the time of the incident.
