Peck to discuss marijuana ordinances, neighborhood improvement authority on May 21

The Peck Village Council will be holding a public hearing next month for a pair of issues that have been the topic of discussion at recent board meetings.

At their regular village council meeting last Wednesday, board members unanimously moved to set May 21st as the date for a public hearing concerning both marijuana ordinances for the village, as well as a resolution that would establish the intent to form a neighborhood improvement authority.

The public hearing will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21st at the Peck Village Hall.

Also at their meeting last Wednesday, council members voted unanimously to adopt a mutual law enforcement agreement between the Village of Peck Police Department and the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office.
