(HURON COUNTY) — Huron County Sheriff’s deputies and Bad Axe Police arrested three people on felony drug charges after serving a search warrant at State Apartments on the corner of Van Dyke and Outer Drive in Bad Axe. According to Sheriff Kelly Hanson, the three were taken into custody after police broke through a door. One of the suspects was in the process of injecting himself with drugs as police gained entry. A 33-year-old Bad Axe man was charged with felony delivery of cocaine, an 18-year-old Saginaw man was busted for felony possession of heroin and a 20-year-old Saginaw man was charged with felony delivery of cocaine. Police seized crack cocaine, heroin, prescription pills, cash, and a Jeep Cherokee from the scene. Bond was set for all three suspects. All remain lodged in the Huron County Jail. Sheriff Hanson says the investigation is tied the distribution of fentanyl and ecstasy in Huron County.
